If you're new to our group and event, Out Networking brings together people from the LGBT community and supportive individuals for the greater good of the community. The group meets the second Wednesday of every month at 5:30pm and presents year-round events focused on business, culture, community, and philanthropic subjects.

One Iowa, the states largest LGBT advocacy organization has added some dynamic new staff in this past year and they want to meet you. Working Families Win/ADA will be hosting a meet-and-greet with Donna Red Win, One Iowas new Executive Director and Molly Tafoya, the communications director in our office board room located in the Regional Business Center at 212 E4th St in downtown Waterloo.

A resolution which sought to amend the Iowa Constitution to ban gay marriage has died in the Iowa Legislature.

Friday was the last day lawmakers could act on Republican Senator Dennis Guth's proposed resolution.
