The Iowa School of Burlesque and the DMSC proudly presents UNDERBUSTED: TRIPP THRU OZ.  Join the cast of the ONLY burlesque review in Des Moines as they attempt to wiggle and shake their way down the Yellow Brick Road after a "herbal" slumber party goes array. You have NEVER experienced a TRIPP to Oz like this! Starring our local ladies: Phoenix L'Amour, Mae the Force, Gin Appropriate, Maddie Moiselle, and Leo LaFlash. With St. Vitus and Vivi Dubois.  Featuring St. Louis' 8th Deadly Sin herself, SinDee Hoo Hoo.  And special musical guest, Surgery (featuring Slaydrien).

Join a team of talented teenagers for Lord of the Flies staged scene work, 7:00 PM, tonight, Tuesday, Jan. 15, in the upper lobby at the Des Moines Community Playhouse. Admission is free.

For the past six months, a group of dedicated youths ages 13-17, calling themselves Adolescent Anarchy, have been adapting William Golding's book, Lord of the Flies, for the stage. Tuesday's program will feature selected scenes performed by the nine teens.

Project HIM belongs to the community. And as our community we want to hear from you!

Tuesday night's advisory committee is open to members of the community. It is an opportunity for everyone to voice their opinion and to influence the program.
