Students, faculty and administrators at the University of Northern Iowa have combined their efforts to continue progress for a lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender center and establishing a military and veteran student center.
“The process of gathering ideas and input is going well. There have been lots of great ideas put forward, and everyone has been very supportive throughout the process,” said Lisa Kratz, director of Maucker Union.
Facilities Planning has been coordinating the overall planning process, while Maucker Union staff, the Maucker Union Advisory Board and the advisors for the LGBT and Military and Veterans Student Services groups are involved with providing specific ideas throughout the process.
