Hello and welcome to the launch of the brand-new ACCESSline newspaper website! My name is Aaron Stroschein and I am the new Assistant Editor of the newspaper. Arthur Breur, the new Editor-in-Chief, along with myself and Cory Tenney, our Advertising and Sales Director, are continuing ACCESSline from where it left off in December.
John Wilson, the former Editor-in-Chief , and Paul Danielsen, the former Publisher and Finance Manager, discontinued creating issues of ACCESSline in December of 2008 after 13 successful years. We wish them the best with their new futures as ACCESSline is started again under new management.
So what will happen with ACCESSline now that it has switched hands? ACCESSline is now digital as well as in print! As of March 1st, 2009 ACCESSlineIOWA.com is online and expanding everyday! The newspaper is also looking to move to monthly publication as soon as possible. This will make the information more timely, both for our readers and our advertisers.
We are currently looking into possibliities to make ourselves more social media friendly. ACCESSline is now on Facebook and also Twitter. ACCESSline is currently looking into other social media venues such as podcasting and streaming internet radio, too.
