Riverside Theatre, in collaboration with Working Group Theatre, is honored to present a staged reading of “8”, a new documentary play by Dustin Lance Black (Milk, J. Edgar) about the federal case for marriage equality.
“8″ candidly illustrates the historic trial using court transcripts and personal reflections from the 2010 case known as Prop 8, a constitutional amendment that barred same-sex marriage in California. There will be a post-performance talkback to discuss the issues.
