From music to drag performances to picnics to church, there are a wide array of activities planned for this weekend’s Lincoln’s Star City Pride Festival.
Technically, it started Thursday. That’s how much is going on during the sixth-annual event that promotes equality for the Nebraska’s LGBT community.
Beginning at 8 Friday evening, performers will be providing entertainment at a street dance at 18th and N streets. (The beer garden opens at 6 p.m.) The block party will be hosted by famed Kansas City drag queen Flo, who has shared stages with RuPaul, Diana Ross and more.
