Couple says decision makes them feel 'not valid'
Two Marian High School graduates are working to get their wedding announcement in the alumni newsletter.
The Omaha Archdiocese canceled the notice before the paper went to print.
Lizz Dyer and Katie Brown said they got married on Iowa's side of the pedestrian bridge.
Their home state of Nebraska doesn't recognize their union, and now Dyer said it won't be recognized by their high school community either -- a community which always posts alumni wedding announcements.
