Diversity is the crucial link to economic, cultural, academic, and technological success. Diversity Focus' vision is that the Corridor community be the model of inclusion that values, nurtures, attracts, and retains people of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs.
The mission of Diversity Focus is to lead in the promotion of diversity, cultural awareness and inclusion in our Corridor community.
July 15 – Festival de Cedar Rapids at Green Square Park Cedar Rapids, IA 1-5pm
August 7 – SHIFT Speaker Luncheon Series – Geoffrey Canada at Hotel Kirkwood, Cedar Rapids, IA 11:30am-1:00pm
October 11 – Diversity Focus Annual Meeting at CSPS Hall, Cedar Rapids, IA (not a set time yet, but probably around 5-9)
October 19 – Diversity Focus 6th Annual Student Leadership Conference at Mount Mercy University, Cedar Rapids, IA 8:00-3:00am – open to ALL High School students and educators in public, private and homeschools.
