BREAKING: Prop 8 again ruled unconstitutional
The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled 2-1 that Prop 8, which banned marriage equality for same-gender couples in California, is unconstitutional.
New Civil Rights Movement reports:
"In their ruling, they stated the state of California had no interest denying the right of marriage to gay men and lesbians. The Court also ruled that Judge Walker was not required to recuse himself, and that the Yes On 8 anti-marriage equality organization did have standing to appeal."
