Session has begun and we invite you to join us at the capitol! In February, One Iowa is hosting two events for our supporters to get to know their legislators and to learn more about the issues that we will face this session.
Join us for our annual Legislative Reception on February 6th at 6:00 pm. This special One Iowa event is a chance to meet with our House and Senate leaders as they dive into the 84th Legislative Session. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served. To have the impact we need to keep equality safe, we need your support! Join us for our annual Lobby Day on February 7th at 11:00 am. Lobby Day is a chance for supporters to learn more about the legislative process and get some helpful tips on how to talk to legislators about the issues that matter most to us.
And be sure to stick around after Lobby Day to support our friends at Interfaith Alliance of Iowa on February 7th for their annual fundraiser to advance their mission of empowering people of faith and goodwill to be active in the civic process.
