An Iowa evangelical pastor is texting Republican voters here the link to a satirical music video that blasts Newt Gingrich as the “Kim Kardashian of the GOP.”
The Rev. Cary Gordon of Sioux City, an influential conservative activist who has endorsed Rick Santorum for president, is pushing the anti-Gingrich video.
Attacks on Gingrich, a former U.S. House speaker from Georgia, have gotten hot and heavy since he rocketed to the top of Iowa and national polls.
Gordon said he’s sending out the web link today to “every registered Republican or non-aligned Iowa voter with a cell phone on record.”
