Trio Of Republicans Support NOM’s Witch Hunt Of LGBT Americans (LezGetReal) 
“It harkens back to the days of McCarthyism”. Indeed, it does. The signing of a pledge by various Republican candidates, mostly notably Mitt Romney, Michele Bachmann and Rick Santorum to launch a witch hunt on the LGBT Community should they become President has raised a few eyebrows, and will continue to do so.
The Rainbow Sash Movement was kind enough to explain their views on this particularly problematic and troubling pledge:
"The Rainbow Sash Movement is calling on Mitt Romney, Michele Bachmann, and Rick Santorum to stop attacking the Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Community, in so doing they promote violence in the name of their presidential aspirations. They have all signed a pledge to form a commission to investigate the LGBT community if elected President."
