Presidential candidate Michele Bachmann sent a message to Iowa’s faith community this morning that social issues like abortion and gay marriage are among her top priorities.
Job creation and the economy is and will continue to be the dominant issue of the presidential campaign, she said, but her candidacy is much wider than that.
“I just want to let it be known that I will not be forgetting these important fundamental issues of life, marriage and family,” Bachmann, a Minnesota congresswoman, told a gathering of about a dozen pastors and church leaders from across the state in a Des Moines press conference.
