Michele Bachmann’s appearance on a Des Moines radio show last week attracted several supportive callers, but one amplified his effusive praise for the presidential candidate with biting criticism of the incumbent she hopes to replace.
“I’m telling you, the guy is a walking nightmare,” the caller said of President Barack Obama on WHO Radio’s Simon Conway show on Monday. “I would vote for Charles Manson before this guy.”
With time drawing short, the caller hastened to add, “But I’m pulling for you big time, all the way, go Michele!”
Replied Bachmann, a Republican U.S. representative from Minnesota: “Hey, thank you for saying that.”
