President Barack Obama stayed “on message” Wednesday while in Raleigh focusing on passage of the American Jobs Act. But the White House did issue a statement denouncing the proposed anti-gay marriage amendment that passed the Republican-led General Assembly this week, and will be on the North Carolina ballot next May.
