Former Vice President Dick Cheney and his wife Lynne reiterated their support for gay marriage during an appearance on ABC's The View.
The couple's youngest daughter, Mary Cheney, is gay. She and partner Heather Poe are raising Samuel David Cheney, 4, and Sarah Lynne Cheney, 1. The couple lives in Great Falls, Virginia.
When Barbara Walters asked Lynne her opinion on gay marriage, she answered: “I think that whatever Mary and Heather decide to do is up to Mary and Heather.”
“So, you're not against gay marriage?” Barbara asked.
“That's right,” Lynne answered.
