I stand in support of state Sen. Mike Gronstal’s efforts to protect marriage equality in Iowa.
As a mother, I try to instill good values in my children. Our family values equality, justice and respect for fellow citizens, which is why I support our marriage law. On April 3, 2009, when the Iowa Supreme Court legalized marriage for all Iowans, I was proud. Finally, I was part of a state that respects all families.
