Two new advocacy groups that aim to defend the federal health care reform law conservatives have nicknamed “ObamaCare” are launching efforts in Iowa this week.
Know Your Care, a 501c(3) organization, “will educate people about the Affordable Care Act’s life-saving consumer and patient protections that are already benefiting millions of Americans and will benefit millions more in the coming years,” Democratic operative Erin Seidler said in an email to reporters on Sunday.
And its sister group, Protect Your Care, a 501c(4) organization, is a lobbying effort with a goal of preventing the law from being repealed or defunded, Seidler said.
