
When Larry King was in the seventh grade, he went to a counselor at E.O. Green School with a problem.
An openly gay eighth-grader in his gym class was making advances, and it made King uncomfortable, said Mona Henniger, who testified today in Brandon McInerney's murder trial.
"He (King) said, 'I am not gay, I am not going to date boys,' " Henniger said.
Although that matter was resolved, King still would occasionally talk with Henniger about his troubles fitting in at school.
