The housing, for lesbians aged over 65 experiencing housing stress, is believed to be the first of its type in Australia, the Moreland Leader reports.
Thelma (not her real name), has been homeless for 18 months after a workplace injury, and says the prospect of affordable long-term accommodation is a huge relief.
