
Ron Paul focused on financial issues and foreign policy during his noon visit to the Sergeant Bluff Community Center, the second stop of a one-day visit to Iowa.
The libertarian-leaning Texas congressman who’s seeking the Republican presidential nomination for the second consecutive cycle also spoke on domestic policy and continued to advocate less federal government.
“I think our personal liberties are being severely undermined,” Paul said to about 40 people. “We have less freedom every day, and the government is overly burdensome.”
