Cee Lo Green has come under fire for making what have been perceived as homophobic comments in the US. The Gnarls Barkley singer had been responding to a live review by Minneapolis City Pages music editor Andrea Swensson, who had posted a less than favourable assessment of his support slot at Rihanna's gig at the city's Target Centre.
Writing on his Twitter account (via Swensson's blog), Cee Lo said: "I respect your criticism but be fair! People enjoyed last night! I'm guessing ur gay? and my masculinity offended u? well f---k U!"
