Congratulations to Ben Alley, who Rekha Basu so eloquently wrote about in her June 10 column, "Iowa Teen Moves Forward After Family Dumps Him." It is truly unfathomable to me that any parent could tell their child that they are dead to them, especially for being gay.
These are so-called Christian people? Not the Christians I know.
I wonder what part of their Christian training taught them to hate, discriminate and reject others? What happened to the lesson of what you do to the least of me, you do to me?
