The CBCA will have both a booth and a float this year at Heartland Pride (Saturday, June 25th). The theme of the float is “United in Pride with Allies”. We are looking for up 100 allies to walk with the float the morning of June 25th. If you are an ally or if you know an ally, please ask them If they would take a stand with us and walk in the pride parade to support LGBT rights in Iowa.
Also, we need volunteers to help at the CBCA booth at pride. The main job will be to greet people who come to the booth. If you are interested in helping volunteer at the booth, please let Mike Yowell know by emailing him at
