
Free Event Showcases Local Performing Artists, Films in Outdoor Setting
Omaha Performing Arts is pleased to announce the return of the Cox Music & Movies series, presented by Omaha Performing Arts. The free public events will run one Friday each month this summer: June 10, July 1 and August 19. Each Music & Movies evening will feature a performance by a local band followed by a film presented on the Holland Performing Arts Center’s East Lawn.
The 2011 Cox Music & Movies calendar is as follows:

The Holland Performing Arts Center’s East Lawn will open at 7:30 p.m. with music beginning at 7:45 p.m. and the film beginning at dusk or 8:45 p.m. Grass seating will be limited but blankets and chairs are encouraged. Guckenheimer, the official food service provider for the Holland Performing Arts Center, will offer picnic baskets that include sandwiches, salads and desserts, priced at $8.50 for one person, $16.50 for two people or $32.00 for four people.
