
Gay penguins in Central Park still ruffle the feathers of cultural conservatives.
A children's book about an orphan penguin with two daddies called "And Tango Makes Three" once again topped the American Library Association's list of most frequently challenged books.
In fact, the illustrated book by Peter Parnell and Justin Richardson has been on that list for five years.
Never mind that it is based on the true story of two penguins named Roy and Silo who adopted an abandoned egg at the zoo and raised the resulting female penguin Tango.
