PYP’s first SoCal event will take place at Hotel Zoso in Palm Springs the weekend of the world-famous White Party on Thursday, April 7th from 6pm – 12am. VIP tickets are $150 each and General Admission are $40 and can be purchased; tickets will also be sold the night of the event. PYP’s first of a handful of events, will introduce the nation to this fast growing non-profit organization whose mission is to reignite the conversation about HIV/AIDS education, especially among the youth. Mondo Guerra, a finalist on “Project Runway” Season 8, and other talent are scheduled to attend.
The Positive Young People Foundation (PYP) has been created to stop the spread of HIV infections amongst young people from ages 18-30 through education and to provide valuable information and services to those who are infected. PYP understands that this mission is no small task. However, it is a mission to which they are strongly committed.
PYP seeks to renew the public conversation about issues related to HIV/AIDS in California and the southern states of the U.S. This disease has proven itself to be a silent epidemic. People are dying simply because no one is talking about it.
