
A Christian university in Arkansas has blocked access to an online publication detailing the experiences of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender students.
The publication, called The State of the Gay, features first-person anonymous accounts from LBGT students at Harding University, a Church of Christ institution in Searcy, Arkansas.
Students distributed the pamphlets on campus and posted it online at huqueerpress.com.
"We are here to be a voice to the voiceless who are quietly dying inside the walls of our campus. We want you to know us. We are your friends, co-workers, students, family members, fellow worshippers, professors, athletes and scholars," reads the publication's introduction.
