Willits Educational Series presents founder of Truth Wints Out, Wayne Besen. Besen is speaking free to the public, Friday, February 5th, at 7 p.m. at Waveland Hall, Plymouth Church. Childcare is available, call the church office by February 1st with names and ages of children.
A popular speaker, activist and author, Wayne Besen is best known for stepping outside of academic and media settings to prove that ex-gays are not who theypurport to be. Besen has an unprecedented record of exposing ex-gay ministries as a hoax and has a demonstrated record of success.
Truth Wins Out (TWO) is a non-profit think tank and educational organization that counters right-wing disinformation campaigns, debunks the ex-gay myth, and provides accurate information about the lives of GLBT people. TWO’s mission is to:
• provide opposition research on the ex-gay industry
• discredit right-wing propoganda
• educate America about the GLBT community
