House District 90 has now become a battleground for marriage equality with many organizations from both sides of the issue contributing money to the election. Now, with nearly $90,000 pouring in from the National Organization for Marriage, the call for a disclosure of funds has been issued by One Iowa. The marriage-equality advocacy group has create a petition to gather signatures to force NOM to reveal the donors contributing to their campaign funding. A fund to counter NOM ads with pro-equality ads has also been created by the Fairness Fund PAC, which is also leading a voter registration effort.
