As President Barack Obama prepares to sign legislation to repeal the country’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” law, a group that works with lesbian, gay, and bisexual members of the U.S. armed forces is warning those members to “remain cautiously closeted.”
In a press statement released Tuesday, Aubrey Sarvis, executive director of Servicemembers’ Legal Defense Fund, had this to say about the legislation passed on Saturday:
